Grudge match

Last night, I played a pivotal role in the Central vs Branches tenpin bowling extravaganza. Representation from the branches was good, with staff from High Street, Astley Bridge and Harwood.

I was on the Central team. We lost badly, despite having more players than the other team. But it was fun. I think it counts as Chartership evidence: I'm committed enough to the profession to hang out with library people after work!

Update: I just realised I deleted the sentence explaining the nature of my pivotal role: I'm rubbish at bowling. Without that caveat, I probably look more arrogant than I really am...
